Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Delight Ventures, Dai Watanabe is a seasoned business leader with over 20 years of tech industry experience in Japan, China and the U.S. Prior to founding the firm, Dai was the San Francisco-based VP of Strategy and Corporate Development at DeNA. He also served as President of DeNA Global and DeNA Beijing, leading the company’s global expansion efforts since 2005. He began his career at a commercial bank in Tokyo after graduating from the University of Kyoto. Outside of work, Dai enjoys rock climbing and being a dedicated parent.
